Hereford Hogs

We have 2 Hereford Sows, Laverne and Squeely.

The Hereford pigs have a history that traces back to the early 20th century. They have similar color patterns and Hereford Cattle, which is where they get their name. They are primarily red with a white face and at least 2 or more white legs.

This breed is a cross between Duroc, Chester White, and Poland China pigs in an attempt to make a breed that combined the strengths of these breeds.

These gentle souls and hardy, adaptable, playful and have good quality meat.
